1. Website use
This website is operated by Maxibern. By accessing it, you agree to use it lawfully and not attempt to disrupt, damage, probe or gain unauthorised access to the website, its systems or other users’ information.
Website content is provided for general information. Although we aim to keep it accurate and current, it is not professional legal, financial or other regulated advice.
2. Enquiries, proposals and services
A website enquiry, callback request or conversation does not by itself create a contract. A service relationship begins when the parties accept a written proposal, agreement, invoice or other document defining the scope, deliverables, timeline and fees.
Clients are responsible for providing accurate information, timely feedback, required access and lawful materials. Changes beyond an agreed scope may affect the price and delivery timeline.
3. Fees, payments and cancellations
Fees, deposits, instalments, recurring charges and payment dates are stated in the relevant proposal or invoice. Unless expressly stated otherwise, deposits and payments for work already completed or resources already committed are non-refundable.
Late payment may pause delivery, support, hosting or access to a service. Any cancellation or refund arrangement must follow the terms of the specific engagement.
4. Intellectual property
Maxibern retains ownership of its pre-existing tools, methods, templates, software, know-how and reusable components. Once all agreed fees are paid, the client receives the ownership or licence rights expressly stated in the applicable agreement.
Logos, text, graphics and other content on this website may not be copied, republished or commercially exploited without permission, except where allowed by law.
5. Third-party services
Projects may rely on hosting providers, payment gateways, plugins, platforms, APIs or other third-party services. Their separate terms, availability, pricing and policies apply. Maxibern is not responsible for changes, interruptions or decisions made by those providers, but we will offer reasonable assistance where included in the engagement.
6. Warranties and limitation of liability
We provide services with reasonable skill and care. Except where the law does not permit exclusion, Maxibern is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, lost profits, lost data or business interruption arising from website use or an engagement.
Our total liability relating to a specific paid service will not exceed the fees paid for that service during the period giving rise to the claim.
7. Governing law and changes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana. Disputes should first be addressed through good-faith discussion before either party pursues another lawful remedy.
We may update these terms as our website, services or legal obligations change. The date above identifies the latest version.
